A belemnite still in situ which I found on the beach to the east of Charmouth. One tap from a hammer and it fell apart. It is strange to be walking along the beach and be the only person. There are no boats at sea and not a single plane in the sky. Even the seagulls look puzzled and might have to change their diet from chips and ice cream. The ducks at Charmouth still quack but there is no bread for them…………
